Tasting profile
Structure: medium-bodied, low tannin, high acidity, dry
Pinot Noir from the Mornington Peninsula, the cool maritime finger of land south-east of Melbourne surrounded by water on three sides — one of Australia's most reliable homes for the variety. Red cherry, raspberry and cranberry with a savoury undergrowth note and a little spice, medium-bodied with fine silky tannin and bright acidity. Lighter and more perfumed than Yarra Pinot, with the sea keeping everything fresh. Lovely from two or three years.
