Armenta Shiraz

Tasting profile

Structure: full-bodied, medium tannin, medium acidity, dry

Armenta is the mid-tier range of Reschke, the Coonawarra family estate (bought by CW Wines in 2020), grown on the region's terra rossa over limestone. The Shiraz shows the cool-climate Coonawarra style: blackberry and plum with black pepper, a minty, cedary lift and an earthy edge, medium-to-full body and fine, firm tannins that let it age for a decade.

Serving: Serve at 16–18 °C.
