Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, medium tannin, high acidity, dry

Avni is the larger-production Pinot Noir of Lingua Franca, the Eola-Amity Hills estate founded with Master Sommelier Larry Stone and Burgundy's Dominique Lafon as consultant. Drawn from the estate and neighbouring vineyards on volcanic and marine soils cooled by the Van Duzer winds. Red cherry, raspberry and cranberry with forest floor, black tea and spice, medium-bodied, fresh and fine-grained. A Burgundian-styled Oregon Pinot that drinks well young and improves for several years.
