Tasting profile

Structure: light-bodied, high acidity, dry

Army Block is a single-block Hunter Valley Semillon from a separate section of Leogate's old Black Cluster Vineyard in Pokolbin. It is hand-picked from low-yielding vines and handled to keep skin contact minimal. It is light-bodied and crisp, with lime, lemon and a piney note over a mineral edge. It is excellent young and develops toast and honey with careful cellaring of up to ten years or more.
