Tasting profile
Structure: full-bodied, medium tannin, medium acidity, dry
Félix Solís's Reserva from DO Valdepeñas in La Mancha: Tempranillo from older, low-yielding vines, aged 12 months in American oak and then two to three years in bottle before release. It is a generous, warm-climate red at about 13% alcohol, with ripe cherry and jammy plum fruit wrapped in vanilla, chocolate and sweet spice from the oak. Ripe, medium tannins and a smooth finish make it ready to drink on release. It is a popular, good-value Reserva rather than a wine for long keeping.
