Tasting profile
Structure: light-bodied, low tannin, medium acidity, dry
Domaines Rouvinez's Fendant from Sierre: Chasselas, the Valais's traditional white, aged on its fine lees in large barrels. Pale and delicate, with a floral nose of linden and vine flower over white pear and lemon, and the flinty, mineral touch Valais Chasselas takes from its soils. Light at around 12%, lively and easy to drink. The classic partner for raclette and fondue, it also works as an aperitif or with delicate lake fish. Serve at 8–10°C, young.
