A Paso Robles red blend from an estate built on the limestone slopes of the Adelaida District, the cooler western side of the appellation. Paso's signature is heat tempered by marine air drawn through the Templeton Gap, and the reds come out ripe and plush with more freshness than the daytime temperatures suggest. Expect dense dark berry and plum with cocoa, vanilla oak and a warm spiced finish, full-bodied with substantial ripe tannin. Generous and modern in style, and approachable young.
