Doppio Passo Primitivo

Tasting profile

Structure: full-bodied, medium tannin, medium acidity, dry

Doppio Passo is Casa Vinicola Botter's Primitivo from Salento IGT in Puglia. Part of the harvest is left to dry before pressing and then blended back with the rest of the Primitivo, which gives a deep ruby, generous and ripe red with a soft, round texture. Expect plums and dark wild berries, a hint of dried herbs and a chocolate note on the finish. An easy-going everyday wine, made to drink within a few years of the vintage.
