Macedonia

**Macedonia** ... — a large region in northern Greece stretching from the Aegean coast toward the mountainous interior. Xinomavro is prized for its firm tannins, high acidity and savoury tomato-and-herb character, and it is often compared to Nebbiolo for its structure and capacity to age.
