Tasting profile
Structure: medium-bodied, low tannin, high acidity, dry
Bodega Tres Pilares is a family winery in La Seca, in the heart of DO Rueda, founded in 2013 by the Fernández brothers from a long line of growers. Hermanos Fernández is its top Verdejo, from old vines on the estate's stony plots, and the 2020 spent around eleven months on its lees. It shows fennel, white peach and citrus peel with a bitter-almond finish, a textured palate and firm acidity, and it has more ageing ability than standard Rueda.
