Tasting profile
Structure: light-bodied, low tannin, high acidity, dry
Blouge, neither quite blanc nor rouge, is Arnaud Lopez's light Burgundian red co-fermenting Gamay with Aligoté from organic fruit, made with minimal sulphur at about 11%. Gamay's bright fruit meets Aligoté's tension: redcurrant, strawberry, citrus and flowers in a lively, very drinkable glass to serve slightly chilled.
Serving: Serve at 13–15 °C.
