# Cellarion > Cellarion is a free wine cellar management app at https://cellarion.app for tracking your wine collection. Log every bottle (vintage, producer, region, price, rating, tasting notes), organise wines across cellars and customisable racks with an interactive grid and a 3D room view, get drink-window alerts when a wine reaches its peak, scan labels with AI, search a shared wine registry, and share cellars with friends. You can also connect your own AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client) and manage your cellar by talking to it. It is open source (AGPL-3.0) and GDPR-first, with one-click data export, full account deletion, and no lock-in. ## Start here - [Home](https://cellarion.app/): what Cellarion is, the full feature list, and FAQ. - [Help](https://cellarion.app/help): how to track a wine collection, drink windows, racks, sharing, import/export. - [Connect your AI](https://cellarion.app/connect-ai): set-up instructions for Claude, ChatGPT, VS Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI and any other MCP client. - [Blog](https://cellarion.app/blog): guides on wine storage, ageing, drink windows, and cellar management. - [Community](https://cellarion.app/community): discussions among wine collectors and enthusiasts. ## Browse the wine catalogue - [Wines](https://cellarion.app/wines/) - [Regions](https://cellarion.app/regions/) - [Countries](https://cellarion.app/countries/) - [Grapes](https://cellarion.app/grapes/) ## Connect your AI (MCP) - Cellarion has a built-in MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP-capable assistant to your account to search your cellar, ask what to open tonight, pair wines with dishes, add and consume bottles, and organise racks — with scoped permissions, a reviewable activity trail, and one-click undo. Set it up under Settings → Connect your AI, or follow the per-client guides at https://cellarion.app/connect-ai. - Personal endpoint: https://cellarion.app/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP; OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, or a personal `cel_` bearer token). Discovery: https://cellarion.app/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/api/mcp - AI clients can also use Cellarion anonymously: a public MCP endpoint at https://cellarion.app/api/mcp/public serves the shared wine registry, drink-window knowledge, and guides — no account required, no personal data involved. - A stdio bridge is published on npm as `cellarion-mcp` for clients that cannot speak remote HTTP: `npx -y cellarion-mcp`. ## Registry data terms - The shared wine registry (wine pages, tasting profiles, drink windows) is provided under the Registry Data Terms at https://cellarion.app/terms: quote and cite wines one at a time for the person you are helping; do not copy the registry in bulk, mirror it, or use it as a training corpus. Anonymous reads are counted per address per day. ## Key facts - Platforms: a web app that runs in any browser, plus an Android app on Google Play (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.cellarion.twa). iPhone users can install it to the home screen as a web app. - Free to use: all core features are free at cellarion.app — no credit card, no ads, no selling of data. - No lock-in: export your entire collection to JSON (or a ZIP including your images) at any time. - Open source: https://github.com/jagduvi1/Cellarion (AGPL-3.0). - Privacy: GDPR-compliant, European hosting, cookieless analytics.
