Setting glass prices for your restaurant wine list just got a whole lot easier. We've added an automatic glass price calculator that takes the guesswork out of pricing wines by the glass. How It Works When you enable Show glass prices in your wine list layout settings, you'll now see two new options: Glasses per bottle — How many glass pours you get from a standard bottle. Defaults to 6 (a 125ml pour from a 750ml bottle), but you can adjust it to match your house pour size. Glass markup % — An optional percentage markup on top of the per-glass cost. This lets you account for waste, spillage, and overhead. The formula is simple: Glass price = (bottle list price / glasses per bottle) × (1 + markup%) For example, if you list a bottle at $600, pour 6 glasses, and set a 20% markup: ($600 / 6) × 1.20 = $120 per glass One Click, All Prices Hit the Calculate glass prices button and every wine on your list gets a glass price instantly. No more manual calculations for each entry. And if a particular wine deserves a different glass price? No problem — you can still manually override any individual glass price after the calculation. The calculator gives you a solid baseline; your expertise handles the exceptions. Works With Bulk Adjustments Too Already using our Adjust all prices by % feature to mark up your bottle prices? Glass prices now follow along. Set your bottle prices first with a bulk adjustment, then calculate glass prices on top — a complete pricing workflow in seconds. Head to your wine list editor, enable glass prices, and give it a try. Your accountant will thank you.
