Cellarion Now Has a 3D Cellar — And It's Open Source Your wine cellar just got a new dimension. Literally. We're excited to announce that Cellarion now features a fully interactive 3D cellar view — letting you walk through your wine collection in a virtual space, place racks, add and remove bottles, and manage your cellar like never before. See It in Action Creating and navigating your 3D cellar: Adding and removing bottles from racks: What Can You Do in the 3D View? Walk through your cellar — navigate a 3D room where your racks live Place and arrange racks — drag racks into position in your virtual cellar space Add and remove bottles — interact directly with rack slots to manage your collection See your real inventory — the 3D view reflects your actual bottles, not just a pretty mockup Are We the First? No. Does It Matter? Also No. Let's be honest — we're not the first wine app to offer a 3D cellar experience. Some commercial platforms have had similar features. But here's what makes this different: Cellarion is fully open source. Licensed under AGPL-3.0, the entire codebase — including the 3D cellar — is available on GitHub . You can self-host it, fork it, improve it, or just learn from it. There's no subscription paywall to unlock the 3D view. No premium tier. No "upgrade to see your cellar in 3D." It's just… there. For everyone. Built for Wine Lovers, by Wine Lovers Cellarion started as a self-hosted wine cellar management app and has grown into something we're genuinely proud of. The 3D cellar is the latest in a series of features designed to make managing your collection not just practical, but actually enjoyable. Whether you have 12 bottles or 1,200, your cellar deserves to look good — even the virtual one. Try It Out Hosted version: cellarion.app Self-host it: GitHub
